Texas law requires a strict three-entity process for mold remediation. A licensed Mold Assessment Consultant (MAC) — a separate company from the remediation contractor — inspects the property, identifies the extent of mold growth, and writes a remediation protocol. Texas Restoration Group performs the remediation work according to that protocol. The MAC then returns to collect clearance samples sent to an independent laboratory.
